Meet Kelly
I’m Kelly Kendall, a portrait and headshot photographer based in Madison, Wisconsin. I help people feel seen, confident, and proud of how they show up in the world.
I grew up on a dairy farm in Minnesota, where I learned the value of hard work, humility, and connection. After 15 years in corporate marketing and graphic design, I felt called to create something more personal. I opened Kelly Kendall Studios in 2021 to offer a luxury portrait experience rooted in authenticity and care.
Today, I specialize in modern headshots, personal branding photography, and soulful portraits for small business owners, executives, and women over 40. Whether you're refreshing your brand, stepping into a new chapter, or simply ready to be seen in a new light, I’ll guide you through a customized photoshoot that brings out your best.
I know how vulnerable it can feel to be in front of the camera. I’ve struggled with body image too—and for years, I preferred to stay behind the lens. That’s why I’ve built my sessions to be supportive, empowering, and judgment-free.
My goal is for you to walk away not only with images you love, but with a deeper sense of confidence in who you are.

A stress-free space for your photoshoot.
Kelly Kendall Studios is a light and bright space located about 30 minutes outside of Madison Wisconsin. With a large wall of windows, green plants, and a modern aesthetic, you can instantly relax in this low-stress environment and have everything taken care of for your portrait session.
There’s a makeup station where you can unwind while having your hair and makeup professionally done for your photoshoot, a white leather couch, cozy rug, white table, and various photography backdrops and props for us to use. It’s a place where you can look and feel your best for your photoshoot.
